The fault lies heavily with British Petroleum, but not completely...  Had the EPA been doing its job to identify disaster threats, monitor, and enforce regulations to protect the environment this would not have happened.  After a quarter of a Trillion dollars in Taxpayer dollars in 37 years, and currently with almost 18,000 employees, there appears to be no contingency plan for the disaster in the Gulf of Mexico.

Abortion is an issue that has polarized the State of Kansas and the Nation for 37 years.

This is not an easy issue to address so before you stop reading, thinking I am one way or another on the issue please read the entire position statement.

First of all I want to say that I am not against legal immigration into America. Most Americans agree that it is a good thing, as we are all in one fashion or another the descendants of immigrants. But there is a right way and a wrong way.
 

The time spent by Congress last year on the Health Bill should have been in creating jobs and in creating an economic climate that will produce jobs. The government's priorities have not been where they need to be.

My position on Gun Control is that I will fight hard against any attempt to restrict the Second Ammendment. We must all stay vigilant in order to insure and preserve our Constiutional right to Bear Arms. When possible I will further work to restore rights already taken by previous legislation.

If you are a citizen of the United States you should have a right to purchase a gun under the 2nd Ammendment.
